This remains one of my favorite ski resorts in the east. I have gotten to a few more ski areas over the past few years and no where has even come close to the type of grooming Okemo regularly provides.

The lifts are fast and the lines are short if you know where to hang out on the mountain.

Jackson Gore is a great addition to the mountain but without a direct lift from the base of Jackson Gore to the main mountain Mountain Road will remain a complete mess and the feed in trails for Jackson Gore will continue to be worn off by noon.

Still the terrain offered by Okemo has enough to keep just about everyone interested. Its easy to get to and well worth the trip. Give Okemo a try.
