Okemo is a very friendly mountain. What I value most of any ski resorts is: Food Services (Okemo has large veriety), Children Ski School (Snow Stars is simply the best, and they remember names of your kids next season, wow!!), Snow Grooming (unmatched in the East Coast), Infrastructure (above adequate), Lift Lines (adequate) and environment and attitude of the crowds (Okemo ambassadors will rightfully yell at youngsters resting horizontally in the middle of the trails.) As far as snow fall, we all are under creator's mercy. For managing kid's centers, food and lodge services, busing to/from parking lots: "Job Well Done, Okemo" My only pet peeves are the lodging rates (ridiculously high, even non-holiday and off-season). Lift ticket rates are about the average though. I will keep coming back to Okemo for more happy skiing, and even more so for seeing "skiing happiness" on my little son's face.
