Full review

Stayed in Londonderry, VT over New Years week, and sampled some SoVT mountains. Okemo was by far my favourite. Despite the lack of a gondola, the number of express quads services the mountain quite sufficiently. The terrain is pretty varied, and the South Face offered some above average expert terrain. Jackson Gore was a disappointment because a number of the diamond trails were closed, and the crowd was sizable. Overall, never waited more than 5-10 min for a lift, and on the 2nd day, the Saturday after New Years, was literally riding right onto the South Face Quad all day. Great mountain overall, and excellent for all skill levels. One gripe I had was that there were only 2 double diamond slopes that were NOT glades, and both were closed. That's early season riding for you though. I'll definitely be back at Okemo soon.
