Full review

Okemo is an Indian word meaning "flat mountain". People complain that it's dangerous to ski. That's because the only way to get exhilaration is to ski/board at 100mph. There is no challenge otherwise. Everyone thinks they're an expert because the terrain is flat and groomed out. If you skied one trail you've skied them all. They are all the same. It's a joke to see the trails they rate as black diamond or double black. I'd have no problem bringing a novice on any of them. Lot's of high speed lifts though. People seem to love it, judging by the weekend crowds. That a good thing. It leaves more room for me at the other more challenging and diversified ski area in New England.
