For freestylers, Okemo Mountain Resort also features a Superpipe, six terrain parks, and an Amp Energy AirBag.
The nearest larger airports to Okemo are located in Albany, N.Y. (ALB), 100 miles from the resort; Boston (BOS), 167 miles; and Burlington, Vt. (BTV), 93 miles. Southern Vermont Regional Airport in Rutland, Vt. (SVR) provides carrier service and is 19 miles from the resort.
Many major national carriers enter the Albany International Airport (ALB) including US Airways, Continental, American, United, Delta/Northwest, and Southwest Airlines. Logan International Airport (BOS) in Boston is a major national and international hub, serviced by US Airways, Continental, American, United, Delta/Northwest, Air Canada, Virgin America, AirTran, Jet Blue, Southwest, Air France, Alitalia, British Airways, Swiss International and others. US Airways, United, Continental, Delta/Northwest, AirTran, and JetBlue serve the Burlington International Airport (BTV). Southern Vermont Regional Airport in Rutland (SVR) is served by Cape Air and JetBlue (code share) with regional flights to and from Boston.
From the South: Take I-91 North to VT exit 6 and on to VT Route 103 North. It's just 25 miles from the exit to Ludlow and Okemo. Drive through Ludlow and the Okemo Mountain entrance will be on the left.
From the East: Take I-89 North to NH exit 9 and NH Route 103 West through Claremont. Look for VT Route 131 West to VT Route 103 North to Ludlow once in Vermont. Proceed through the village. Okemo Mountain entrance will be on the left.
West from New York: Take VT Route 4 East to Route 7 South. Turn left onto VT Route 103 South and drive the final 16 miles to Ludlow. The entrance to Okemo will be on the right.
Pointed South: Use VT Route 7 to Route 103 into Ludlow. The Okemo entrance is on the right.
Summit Ski Shuttle (800-599-8916; www.summitskishuttle.com) is a full-service ski trip transportation provider, specializing in private charters. Otherwise, consider car rentals from the airports for the easiest and most convenient access to Okemo.

The Okemo Village Shuttle buses make frequent stops at convenient locations throughout the Ludlow/Proctorsville region. Okemo's free service operates throughout the season on weekends and holiday periods starting in December through March, excluding Christmas Day. Pick up your bus schedule in the Mountain Services Center, located by the Okemo Clock Tower. The resort shuttle serves Okemo Mountain Resort Properties (rental guests and owners), the Inn at Jackson Gore, the Base Lodge Area, Okemo Valley Nordic Center and Willie Dunn's Grille. The shuttle runs December through March, excluding Christmas Day. Schedules are available at the Lodging and Welcome Center, located by the Okemo Clock Tower.
