    The third major snow storm in a month dumped 18 inches of new snow on Killington just in time for St. Patrick's Day. With numerous events over the next several weekends Killington guests should have some great spring skiing and plenty to keep them entertained or challenged. Full Article

  • Snow, Spring and Deals in Vermont

    A reprise of the Valentines Day storm dropped a foot to a foot and a half of fresh powder on resorts all over Vermont last Friday. Mt. Snow and Stratton in the southern part of the state reported 14 to 15 inches of the white stuff while Killington piled up a whopping 20 inches on the mountain. Further north Stowe, Smugglers Notch and Jay Peak all saw dumps of 13" to 17". Full Article

  • Impressive Stats at Okemo

    With the Valentine's Day snowstorm dumping one to three feet of new snow on Northern New England just in time for the President's Week holiday period, all ski areas in the region were in fine shape for the vacationing crowds. Full Article

  • Valentines Bonanza for Jay Peak

    Jay Peak hit the jackpot on Valentines Day accumulating a mind-boggling 59 inches of new snow over a 48 hour period. Although all areas in northern New England received one to three feet of the white stuff, Jay came out on top. Since then they have racked up an additional 20 inches with another 4 to 6 inches expected this week as the winds let up a little. Full Article

    American Skiing Company (ASC) has entered into an agreement to sell its two remaining resorts in Vermont, Killington and Pico, to SP Land Company for $83.5 million. Full Article

  • Attitash and Mt. Snow Sold to Peak Resorts

    Peak Resorts, headquartered in Wildwood, Missouri, has just announced plans to purchase Attitash Mountain in New Hampshire and Mt. Snow in Vermont from American Skiing Company for $73.5 million. Full Article

    Stowe Mountain Lodge, which will be the centerpiece of the new Spruce Peak at Stowe community, will mark a milestone in its construction process with a topping-off ceremony on February 23rd. Full Article
