There will be jumps... They aren't that bad. Variable, yes... But still worth the trip

Longjohn was good. Icy everywhere. They closed bluebird at 1:30 which was the only lift open to the top effectively closing the entire mountain early. Pretty disappointing. Light snow right now and with some grooming it might be better tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
coverage is getting sparse, but decent spring conditions by mid morning.

Don't forget the sunscreen in sunny days! Burnt my neck a little. It reached about 50 later in the day at the base, warmer than. expected, and therefore more mush than expected. Just a few wet spots, mostly lower in Long John and after 2 at some if the lifts. Cover is still very good on open trails, but the main mountain is getting thin except for the Johns and Canyon/Cascade. They might pull off another 2-3 weeks given the coming cool down unless there is heavy rain. The North face is really down to the two lift line black trails, and more grooming would help the ice there, but the pack is plenty deep. Carinthia parks are still around and have DEEP cover, but the problem there is later in the day the warmth is causing the jib kickers to erode, and especially on the smaller jumps, there can be big piles close to the landings. They can't really fix that much during the warmer days, and they won't try. Not bad for Spring and certainly not bad for the worst Winter ever, but wanted to share for proper expectations. Best conditions will be before noon, and first runs are pretty nice.
