As a first-timer to Vermont, I wasn't sure what to expect.

Snow conditions were great. It had snowed almost 2 feet the week we were there. Trails were well-groomed.

It was extremely cold during our stay and the high-speed lifts still took a long time to get to the top and started swaying in the wind. A gondola would have been a great addition to the resort.

I wasn't able to ride all the trails in the 4 days I spent there. I spent all of my time on the Main face. The blue and green trails were nice and wide, great for cruising and carving.

The lodge was very large. It didn't seem so packed even though there were a lot of people there.
The lounge chairs outside of the lodge were nice to take a rest.

On the mountain, you must stop by the Waffle Cabin and get yourself some hot, yummy waffles.
Off the resort, TC's Family Restaurant nearby had good food and great atmosphere.
