Good Family style resort. Summitt Lodge great location for families but food/beverage prices are high! I know they need to make $$$ in a couple of months. Skiing terrain is intermediate at best. Advanced skiers go somewhere else, Northface more of an intermediate challenge but only 1 real expert slope is Ripcord when open! Very slow triple chair on Northface needs updating! Also must pole uphill to get back to main lodge area, not well designed. Overall skiing experience was good due to 12" new snow. Weekends are crowded & long lift lines. Easy access but consider 4-wheel when storms are called upon due to back roads & Summitt Lodge have steep hills & tough to climb without it. Snowmaking was excellent, early season favorite. Do not miss the waffle house for food. PA skier
