Full review

I've skied Mt. Snow several times, as well as many other mountains in New England, Rockies, Sierra, etc. Mt Snow is more akin to the loud, rock, drinking and partying, singles scene of Hunter Mt. New York than a genuine alpine experience. There are a few decent trails to be sure but the mountain is relatively small and limited compared to other middle and northern vermont resorts. If you're looking for a genuine ski experience, much shorter lift lines, mountains of comparable or better quality, and friendly, attentive staff, go to New Hampshire. If it were not for a friend having a place where I can stay free at Mt. Snow, I would drive past Mt. Snow opting to go further north or east only one hour to resorts of higher quality.
