This is not one of the top flight ski areas in Vermont, in fact its not even one of the top ski mountains in southern/mid vermont. I understand the economic challenges that have plagued mgaic, which has left the mountain with relatively undermaintained facilities and old double chairs, but these are still problems. Some of the advanced terrain is pretty nice but after 4-5 runs you start to run out of options. Bottom line is that this place is just too small and outdated. This is not a bad mountain to visit for a day if you are in the area, especially spending a week at Stratton and Bromley, or even Okemo and Mount Snow, but this is not one of the elite Vermont mountains and the reviews on this website are slightly misleading.
