Another excellent "turn back the clock" day. Whether they just got dumped on or the conditions are a little dicey, this is one fine skiing mountain. Sufficient intermediate terrain, both trails and glades, to warm up on or to keep the interest of those whose skill it challenges off the double chair. The single feeds some of the East's best natural snow covered trails and woods, with so much diversity, every run can be its own unique adventure. This mountain's meant to be experienced with a friend or friends (especially when exploring the vast treed terrain, with hidden frozen waterfalls and significant pitches). MRG is guaranteed to challenge one's skills while offering one a true taste of Vermont hospitality, reflected in their price, in their friendliness and in this mountain's ambience. This is one experience that's truly worth the effort.
