Apparently one should stick to the peak days/hours to avoid unforeseen closures. Or read "OnTheSnow" reports before PLANNING a trip there. One would wonder how the owners would would intend to protect their investment and encourage others to invest in vacation real estate with such a lack of amentites. Otherwise during peak operations, it was a great experience despite having rained all day Monday. By Tues, most trails were nicely groomed. If new to the mountain, take the free guided tour to acquaint yourselves w/ the area. Heed their advice too, get an early start so you can leave early when the popular trails get too beat up. Afterwards eat up @ Garlic restaurant. PS Skip the Grand Union supermarket and stock up just a little further down the road @ Hannaford's -better selection and quality
