Though Killington as a mountain is great, Killington as an experience can be awful. A lot of gapers/joeys and the crowds can be insane some days. Overpriced as well. The stats can also be misleading such as saying on their site that they have 3 gondolas on some sites (one has a midload station) as well as stating that they have 3000 feet of vert. While it is true that the difference between the highest and lowest points IS 3000 feet, the most consistent vert you can find is around 1600 on the K1 gondola. The attitude there is somewhat elitist on part of the resort. There are better places to spend money and time. If you have a discount ticket to K-Mart, certainly go on a midweek, but it isn't worth paying full price.
