Hi. We had been going to killington for about 10 years from chicago and have never been disappointed. its a 10 all the way. some lodges are better than others. the last 5 years we stayed at the cortina inn, the best of the 4 we stayed at. the bus to the slopes makes things very easy. the terain is varried enought that it can please everyone. if i was not out in las vegas now i would still be going to killington. they have some of the greatest restaurants in the east on killington road and off it in rutland. they have more runs and lifts and acres than any other destination in the east and the altitude at the top is only about 5000 feet. no lack of oxygen here at all , you can ski all day with out that problem as opposed to skiing in the west where the base lodge is at 10,000 feet and you are sucking air. i really miss it.
