I've skied all over the northeast, it don't get better than this. Jay Peak is a locals mountain. Super chill people. If you don't ski like a local, it ain't worth the drive. If what you do is ski trails, ski somewhere closer to where you live because it ain't worth the drive, they've got the same groomers elsewhere, and the wind blows all the snow off the trails anyway. If what you want is the best glades with the deepest powder, then come to Jay Peak. The most snow in the north east by far, don't let anyone tell you it's overhyped it's real, and they're so far north very often when it's raining farther south, it's snowing at Jay, heck, when it's clear skies at Smuggs and Stowe, its snowing at jay. I have skied knee to mid thigh deep powder, you just gotta know where to look. In fact don't ski at jay I don't need you tracking up my glades.
