I finally got to ski Jay last year (it is sooo far from PA) and was somewhat disappointed. On the positive side, it has very good views from the summit, a solid vertical drop of 2153,' the most snow in the east, an aerial tram, plenty of trails, and arguably the best glade skiing in the east. On the downside, i didn't find most of the trails to be very interesting, and didn't like the long, flat run-off from most of the trails to the right of the tram. My favorite trail is JFK, but I couldn't find many other favorites, in contrast to Sugarbush and Stowe. I would be bored skiing there for more than a couple of days. Also, for skiers living in the Middle Atlantic states, it takes a longggg time to drive to Jay and there's not much apres ski or variety of restaurants if these are important to you.
