Not sure why the knocks against the beginner terrain at this mountain which is serviced by a high speed quad, NOT a double. Double chair was taken out years ago.

Nice lower mountain (beginner area) especially with kids. The lodge is right at the base and you can look at the slopes while eating and keeping track of the kids. And the high speed detachable quad make it easy for the kids. The nicest part about this beginner area is the addition of the terrain parks for some variety and that they actually have a short steeper section to practice on (bunker hill). Good training ground for the easier stuff from the top.

Upper mountain offers a variety of terrain for intermediate and advanced skiers. But beginners will have few choices from the top. Sure would be nice if they had the high speed quad on this part of the mountain. But quad is a big improvement over the double in the past.

Great mountain. Very short lift lines. I'll drive by the mid-state mountain for this, but then again with young kid night lift doesn't much matter for me.
