Great low key family place - nite skiing was a blast
no expert terrain, no village
Went between Christmas and New Years - the ice and cold were a bit of a shock for the kids who are used to California skiing, but they had a great time. They had the run of the mountain, were never worried about getting lost (unlike Mammoth) and loved night skiing. The wind was up one day and we waited three hours for them to open, they never did. We understood the top being closed - but the lower lifts??
