Gorgeous views, fun slopes
crowded, poorly trained employees
When I went to buy the ticket, the employee didn't have the slightest idea about ticket pricing. He charged me full price for a ticket and I showed him my student ID. He looked at me like I was an idiot and said "What is that for? You can't pay with that." Then he didn't even realize there was a student discount. I had to tell him what the price was, he didn't even have a cheat sheet he could look at to tell him.
The day I went, it wasn't very crowded during the day (Thursday) but night skiing was terrifying. Busloads of high school kids came for the evening and most of them really have no conception of safety. They were flying by me extremely closely and at very high speeds. Now, I'm not the fastest skier and I don't care if you pass me, but slow down a little and give me some space. All in all I would not recommend night skiing to anyone who values their personal safety, and I definitely would not recommend it for families with young children.
