Full review

Arabba is a classic ski resort that hasn't made the big time like Cortina or St Moritz. So it is a kind of unduiscovered gem. It's got a fantasdtic locatyion on the giant Sella Ronda circuit which puts more than 500km (310 miles) of ski runs connected to the village right around the ronda as well as in liftlinked valleys like Gardena. The village is also close to the famous Marmolada glacier which used to be open for summer skiing but is still snowsure for guaranteed snow and there's some exciting terrain here. Arabba has enough bars and restaurants for a week if you're notbtoo demanding, but for a bigger choice hop over to Corvara nearby which has built a reputation for gouyrmet cuisine in recent years attracting Hollywood A listers over.
