Named after the triple gold medal winner at the 1968 Grenoble Olympic Games, the ski area won the prize for best winter playground in the world. The 10,000 hectares of wilderness and backcountry which top-out at 3400m offers a succession of unforgettable views of some of the great peaks of the French Alps and the Vanoise National Park. This huge ski area offers some 300 km of snow covered slopes interconnected by 100 ski lifts, it feeds the thirst of discovery of beginners and professionals alike.
