Stayed at the Solitude Inn for four days.. skied there twice. Enjoyed the mountain very much. Mid-week there was absolutely no crowd or lines -- was like I had the entire mountain to myself. The resort is very quant, although pricey. Early season visit meant there was no one else there. Was nice to have the hot tub to ourselves, but would have liked some people to chat with at the bar. Would highly recommend Solitude to couples and families. Navigation to/from the summit is a bit of a pain.. slow lifts up, and flat terrain down. Stay away from the slow lifts and you'll have a terrific day out.
