Solitude Mountain Resort Transportation

Air Travel:

The Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC), with nearly 450 daily departures to over 100 nonstop destinations, is a major hub for Delta Airlines. Other major carriers include American Airlines, Continental, Frontier, JetBlue, Southwest, United Airlines, and US Airways.

You can often fly and ski on the same day In Utah. Show your boarding pass for that day upon arriving at your resort, and you could ski free.

By Car:

Solitude is located 12 miles up Big Cottonwood Canyon and only 30 minutes from SLC. Take Route 215 South from SLC and then take exit 6 to Big Cottonwood Canyon and Solitude. Use I-80 West to the Route 215 interchange and proceed to exit 6. It's only 12 miles from the exit to your piece of solitude.

Ground Transportation:

Skier and rider service is the name of the game in Utah, and getting you from the airport to the slopes - sometimes on the same day - is an integral part of that. Contact All Resort (435-649-3999; www.allresort.com).

Getting Around:

There is a free cat shuttle bringing skiers and riders from one part of Solitude to another. Otherwise, walking is the most recommended and popular means of getting around the resort. Shuttles run from Salt Lake City to Solitude for a nominal fee.
