No longer are there "powder days", at best you might get a couple "powder hours" which are then followed by "ice weeks". Icebird should limit the number of lift tickets they sell, snow is declining and population in booming=powder will continue to be hard to come by.

Dust on crust. Some soft turns at the top of the cirque. Other wind loaded areas were soft but not deep. Hope the storm track changes soon or else it's going to be a long winter here in ut

The morning was good but there is still Ice under the new snow, once the snow was run over it was the same as yesterday, they are in desperate need of more snow

an inversion is when i pocket of warm air traps a pocket of cold air underneath separated by a blanket of clouds. It looks like a very cloudy cold day but its sunny and warmer above the clouds at the top of the moutain
