Just go to Snowbasin... It blows the bird away and its 100 percent open. Park city is a joke with 100 percent crowded.

63% of the trails were open yesterday with 9/11 lifts. Today will probably get closer to 80% with all of the lifts open(maybe not baby thunder). If you really couldn't find powder yesterday then you didn't leave the groomers. When it snows a lot closes but it's all open within a few days. So in 3 weeks, if there is a big storm, the situation will be very similar.

Ok, so do you think all the terrain will be open in 3 weeks?

It's less that they close those areas and more that they haven't been able to open them yet. After heavy snowfall they must do Avalanche control but it's really difficult to do that in the morning if the road to get there is closed. Once the road and mountain is open they are limited in how much they can do because there are people around now. It's all about safety and the feasibility of making it safe. I mean no offense but this isn't Park City or Breckenridge. Little Cottonwood Canyon is a much less forgiving place. On a day like today it's not "will an avalanche happen?" It's "where will an avalanche happen?"
