Just bought passes for my family and got there before the resort even opened to find out there was NO WHERE TO PARK! How do you sell passes and then not allow people enough space to park. It wasn't even a powder day, just a average day and no where to park. Very disappointed in our experience and will not be coming back.

If not the best Skiing in North America I don’t know what is?
Skiing the Blacks is amazing
Little Cottonwood Canyon Road and parking can be dicey when the snows falling.

Snowbird is my favorite resort in the country. The snow quality is best in the world, the terrain is engaging and can get you into spicy situations. Terrible resort for beginners and families, but if you care about skiing, and everything else is second fiddle, the bird is the place to be.
Consistent and great snow quality. Best all mountain terrain in the states.
No town, chokepoint entry through the canyon

Used to be my favorite ski resort.Had been skiing at Snowbird for years. After my last going I will rarely go again. Got up there at opening 9 am.only able to get 2 runs in by noon. Delays and TYPICAL MASSIVE LINES makes this place one of my least favorite places to go of the entire west.ern states. Now one of the most expensive. $30 for what used to be free. $50 for valet skiing which until 2 years ago was $20. Like Jackson Hole they need to start limiting amt. of people. If you like walking and enjoy waiting in lines(like California) then this is your place to go.
A lot of terrain types.
Over crowded. Lifts frequently closed.

Not going to Snowbird for restaurants, nightlife nor shopping….one of the best unwritten guarantees for snow on great terrain.
Snow Snow Snow….on great terrain
No nightlife…but that OK….too tired and need to get early tram

I always felt the place was overrated and the service reflected a "love it or lump it" mentality. Also, price was always higher than other areas. We always tried to vary between the four in Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons, but the Bird saw us least by far. If they bring grooming up to snuff it would go a long ways. Full disclosure: We haven't skied the last two seasons, now prices are getting prohibitive!
Terrain good
Always thought grooming was sloppy, patchy, consistently below average for the hype.

Parked and saw no shuttles so hiked the long trek to centre. Had to walk up two flights of stairs and there was no staff to direct skiers so I went to end of long tram line @ 8:45. Got to tram at 9:50 only to have my pass not work. Went to ticket office and finally got to top of summit just after 10. Absolutely ridiculous! We then found the only way out was down the Regulator which was not groomed. Noticed that Peruvian Chair was moving when we were on tram. After skiing all blue runs and confirming on line that Chips Run was open, we skied to Peruvian only to find it closed - apparently because many skiers were ducking under ropes and skiing OB. That ended our day on a fittingly sour note. If you enjoy long lines and lousy communication this place is for you. I wias pumped to check out the hill after all the snow it got, but it was one of the worst skiing experiences I have ever had. I will never go back and will advise anyone considering going there to expect what I got. Terrible!
Beautiful terrain. Great view from summit.
Parking, ski passes, lineups, lift closures
