Good food at snack bars.
Poor grooming, too much walking, difficult access.
I boarded this with my wife (she skis) after being at Solitude and Brighton previously the same week. What a difference! We had a great time at Solitude and Brighton--not at Snowbird.
Getting around Snowbird is very difficult--miserable flat catwalks that go on forever between lifts--better to take the shuttle bus. We would go down runs and find ourselves walking to the next slope because we would run out of speed on the extended flat areas--sometimes two or three times on one run! Grooming was terrible--even the green runs were full of bumps and ridges.
This area is appropriate for advanced or expert skiers--beginners beware. Those of lesser skill will be unnerved by the advanced skiers racing by them as they struggle down the slopes. And a skier or boarder needs a high rate of speed to get over the flat areas to the next slopes!
All in all, we give the bird to the bird. Won't be back!
