snowbasin has as much backcountry as in bounds terrain. backcountry areas are very steep and your sluff follows you down the mountain on the best days. Logged 30 days their in past 2 years and have always found great snow. Tons of cliff drops in backcountry. Go to top of no name peak or strawberry to find the best backcountry runs.
