Snowbasin is where I skied for 3 years when I lived in Utah; the resort was just 30 minutes from my house. The mountain is usually over half locals--its a secluded resort that not many tourists know of, which make the mountain full of people who know what they're doing which means lots of advice and help on what runs to take, less crowding, and overall just better in my opinion. Snowbasin has the BEST ski resort food I've ever had (and I've tried quite a few), amazing customer service, the lifts are almost always running smoothly, and nothing beats having 2 warm gondolas!
