3 inches isn't enough to cover up the rocks at the top of McConkey's Bowl, don't take your new skis in there. Once you get in the bumps it's still hard and icy. And don't bother going down to Silverlode unless you like dodging tourist gapers and their kiddies. kiddr.tgagapersggggggggandakkikiddies

7-8" fresh off 9990. Great lines if you don't value your ski bottoms. The rocks will still get' cha

A huge improvement. Great powder to add some grip, cover the ice and provide lots of fun. But we still need more. The ice isn't difficult to find; it lurks just beneath tbe surface, but is manageable.

Not bad today. 3 out of 5 stars for back mountain mainly Bearclaw. Front is more like 1 or 2 stars. I've had worse days here.

Was here last weekend. Powder day with freshies everywhere. Knee deep in some places. Sunday was a bluebird day with still plenty of fresh powder on the steeps and freshly groomed snow on the blues. Amazing conditions here. Much better than California.

Had an amazing time on Mon 2/23 skiing the Mineral Basin. There was still plenty of powder skiing even though most was chopped up. Great conditions on groomers. Snow is grippy and tracked out powder is not bad. Easy to plow right through.
