Powder Mountain Ski and Snow Report

  • i never said i could not find powder. i can find, ski or snowboard powder with the best of them. PM is great. i just dont like the work that goes with it. we are blessed here in utah with many wonderful mountains to choose from. if you cant tear it up at a utah resort, you wont anywhere you go.

  • I love pm... it is my favorite Utah resort. that said... it's acreage is really inflated with hike to and cat terrain. still... powder lasts far longer than at any other Utah resort by a long margin.

  • the only reason you say that is cause u dont know how to ski Pow Mtn. Was there 2 weeks ago and skied deep powder all day everywhere. I've skied all the Cottonwood resorts and Powder can dish it out with any of them. if you can't find powder in 5000 acres, stick to the easy resorts

  • sick yes, but this is utah. almost every mountain has more to offer. so why would i waste my time on old and slow chairs. lets not talk about the new brakes i would have to buy if i went to powder mountain all season.

  • But what you can ski off those old slow lifts is sick! Come to Ohio and we'll show you small hills and slow lifts!

  • skiable yes, but how much of the area do you have to ride a cat for a extra fee or hike. powder mountain is kinda small when you look at what you can ski off of their old slow ski lifts.
