open terrain, powder everywhere, so much space to explore, can never get tired of it
not much in the way of lodges or lodging
Powder Mountain seems to be a hidden gem within Utah. While the well-known resorts get all of the traffic, Powder Mountain reminds me of how skiing used to be. That being said, they have a ton of area to explore. I have gone there a lot this past year and don't feel like i have begun to ski everywhere on the mountain. It is also nice to be able to drive up there when it is snowing and not have to wait in traffic. And then once you are there you won't have to wait in lift lines like i always used to at alta or snowbird. i would highly recommend this mountain to anyone.
