After reading the reviews on Powder Mountain, some are typical comments of folks who just can't enjoy themselves unless they're trying to impress other people. If you don't like PowMow for what it is, please go elsewhere and leave the knee to hip deep powder shots for the rest of us. Coming from the Finger Lakes area of New York, I've been skiing PowMow since 1996. I just got back from 2 incredible weeks of skiing all powder runs in the back country. The Mountain Manager (Rod Kelly)has an incredible crew of Mountain Hosts and Ski Patrollers. Steve, Dave and Paul are friendly/very knowledgeable at the ski shop. I've skied all over Colorado, other Utah "Apres" resorts, Austria, Germany and Switzerland. None of the skiing my wife and I have done anywhere compares to Powder Mountain. We can only hope they keep it as user friendly as it currently is under new ownership. If you've never been there, your missing the best skiing you'll ever do!
