Pros: Great skier:terrain ratio means powder lasts for days. Rideable forests.

Cons: Not a resort. Sub par food. Most terrain requires hiking, traversing, cat, or shuttle..

This is paradise for a powder loving all mountain rider. I just did a 7 day snowboarding vacation from Tahoe to Mammoth to Salt Lake, and this was the best time I had on the trip. The snow report was 3" the day before and 1" that night, so I was really surprised to find that the several inches laid down from a storm days earlier was still mostly untouched. There was powder everywhere. I've never had such long controlled tree runs. This place is perfect for people who just love to ski or snowboard through powder and don't need a nice lodge or resort to enjoy themselves. I didn't even get to the cat runs, hikes, or powder country. There was plenty of powder accessible from the lifts.
