Going to the mountain on Thursday, are the conditions as bad as these people are saying?

The snow has finally started to come. Up in McConkey's there was plenty of fresh pow to shred, especially through the trees. The groomers had a nice inch odd of fresh on top of the corduroy giving the mountain a softer feel. Set to get even better with more snow coming.

Flew in from Cali and was on the slopes by 10:30. Although not prime, coming from Sierra cement conditions weren't too bad. Not too icy, no crowds, gets soft around 1:30-2 but still getting cold and shadows by 3. Plenty of shred to be had.
