After skiing Colorado resorts with my family, we found the people of Park City to be more friendly, helpful and informative. Even on the weekends when the crowds get bigger, the Park City Resort staff are usually right around the corner to help. If you've never been there, it is easy to get around with plenty of ways to get from one place to another and of course, options to eat. As for the skiing, one thing that we appreciated is that you don't get harrassed by the ski patrol if you tend to ski a little 'assertive'. The conditions the week over New Years were mixed but depending on your skill level, a lot of snow that turned from heavy stuff to light, fluffy Utah snow....and lots of acres to choose your run.
