Babes were boarding en force at Park City's Third Annual Roxy Chicken Jam. Athletes from a dozen countries tore it up in the Park City terrain park for three days. Slopestyle champ is Tara Dakides of Mammoth, California. One of her best runs included a backflip over the showtime booter, backside rodeo to a clean backside 720, finishing with a boardslide to fakie on the flat down flat. Full Article

Park City had the best superpipe skiers in the world competing in the fifth annual World Superpipe Championships this past weekend. Simon Dumont came away with the $15,000 prize and title of 2007 World Superpipe Champion. Dumont, who finished second last year, had a stunning run to beat defending champ Tanner Hall. Full Article

Park City hosted the best boarders in the world for the 2007 World Superpipe Championships last weekend. The athletes tore it up in the Eagle Superpipe, the world's largest superpipe and the site for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. Boarders took three runs each, and in the end, the gold went to Shaun White, the 2006 Olympic Gold Medalist. For the women, Torah Bright won for the second year in a row. Full Article

Powerful storms continued to sweep across Utah and Colorado, adding plenty of perfect powder to the bases to launch the spring skiing season. Park City racked up four feet of "The Greatest Snow on Earth" from the storms.

Utah could soon be getting new license plates to display the state's skiing industry. Craig Johnson with the Utah chapter of the Automobile License Plate Collectors Association came up with the idea. "It shows the larger, energetic skier along with the mountain background which is appealing and represents the state well." Full Article
