We (family of four: two adults, two teens) skied Deer Valley recently and as soon as we arrived we found the parking lot full (9:00am) and had to wait for a tram to take us from the lot to the resort. Then we had to walk (carrying skis and boots) upstairs to the locker area, buy tokens for the lockers (credit card lockers are so much easier), and change in a very small and crowded locker area. We started out on the green runs to get our feet wet and WOW! there are so many ski school groups! They take over the lift lines, ski right down the middle of the trails and are standing everywhere. We had to do a lot of poling just to get around everyone and get on the lifts. Despite all this Deer Valley's runs are perfectly groomed, the food is excellent, and the NO SNOWBOARDERS rule rules! Blue and Black trails are awesome! Will definitely go back as we just purchased a house in the area because of the GREATEST SNOW ON EARTH!!
