I spent 5 skiing days out in Utah over New Years '09. We spent 4/5 days in Park City at Deer Valley resort. Yes, if it is a sell out day then the lines to take you up the mountain can get a little long, especially in the 9-11am range. However, once you're up the mountain you should have no problem finding a lift with a quick wait time and plenty of terrain that isn't crowded. The food is delicious. This resort is a classic case of "you get what you pay for" it is not the cheapest resort, but produces a great experience. After taking a day out of our trip to go to The Canyons (and spending half the day either in a lift line, or dodging snowboarders falling all over themselves), I couldn't wait to get back to Deer Valley.
(I didn't rate the Terrain Park because I didn't venture into it)
