Deer Valley is a very well rounded ski resort for skiers of all capabilities. There are plenty of green runs for the less experienced, blue and double blues for the more intermediate, and black diamonds for the advanced. The runs all seemed to be well groomed and the lift operators are very friendly. There are many lifts (I forget how many) leading to 4 peaks. I skied there on 1/10/07, just before a storm blew in the next day, so there wasn't much powder yet, but it was very enjoyable, nontheless. They are currently running a January special at Canyon Sports for adult lift tickets for only $62, compare to the regular price of $77. Their website doesn't state this, but I found this out when I got to their store. www.canyonsportsslc.com/tickets.html Another very nice aspect of Deer Valley Resort is the food! They have a vast menu of "a-la-carte" items at several different resturants throughout the resort. I highly reccommend the Buffalo Goulash with mashed potatoes! Really hits the spot and fills you up.
