Brian Head Resort Overview

Brian Head Resort

Brian Head Resort was honored as a Top Family Getaway because of its Navajo Lodge Learning Center, an entire facility and mountain dedicated to kids and newcomers to winter sports. Navajo Mountain features two chairlifts, a surface lift, a beginner terrain park, and ten beginner runs, accompanied by a full-service ski and snowboard school for all ages. Giant Steps Mountain offers plenty of options for more advanced skiers and snowboarders with a wide variety of intermediate and advanced slopes and two large terrain parks serviced by four chairlifts. Additional area activities include snowmobiling, a full-service day spa, horse-drawn sleigh rides, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, dining at area restaurants, side trips to nearby national parks, and regularly-scheduled community events at the Town Park, including bonfires and marshmallow roasts.

There are several restaurants on the mountain, ranging from day eateries at the base of the ski/snowboard hill to fine dining. There is a wide range of dining options down the hill, with the largest concentration and selection in Cedar City.

There is a full-service day spa at the Cedar Breaks Lodge & Spa, with a variety of services ranging from traditional bodywork to energy therapies. Several retail shops in Brian Head offer on-mountain shopping opportunities, and there are two convenience stores, a liquor store, post office, and real estate offices on the mountain as well. Cedar City has large chain grocery stores and department store shopping, with a smaller grocery store and drug store in Parowan. The Cedar Breaks Club at the Cedar Breaks Lodge & Spa serves adult beverages, as do other on-mountain venues when food is purchased. The Kids Camp offers day care for children ages 6 weeks through 12 years old. Kids Camp also offers affordable all-inclusive packages for children ages 3-12.
