My family and I have been skiing BH for 15 years. My 2 kids as toddlers had their own mountain(Navajo), lessons, rental, daycare, the works. The grownups ski Giant steps. BH is not a big resort, but it has something for everyone. My measure of a successful skiing experience is not how many runs you make or your mileage, but how big of a smile is on your face at the end of the day. I learned skiing at Mammoth, and have skied Tahoe, Sun Valley and Salt Lake as well. Our biggest smiles come at Brian Head. With the resort base at 9000 ft, the snow is great, easy to ski. A wonderful, relaxed experience. Although the trees are gone to the Pine Bark beetle, waking up and playing in the mountains is what I seek and why I go. Nightlife is family, food and get the gear ready for tomorrow. WAHOO !!! We leave in 3 days for BH.
