This is a great family place to ski. This is our family's third trip to Brianhead, and we were once again impressed. True, it's not a huge resort, but their kids ski school is second to none (IMO). The terrain is wide open, but serious black diamond skiers will not appreciate the lack of relief here. However, beginner and intermediate skiers will find plenty of fun runs on both mountains. Even though we skied over the New Year's weekend and had to pay the holiday rates, it's still a great value compared to Mammoth. Virtually non-existent lift lines and beautiful weather made for a fantastic trip. We stayed in Cedar City each night which has a few more options for eating and entertainment.
