This place is sweet. Alta has tons of unique terrain to get eric pollard on. There are a ton of gaps, tree taps, and cliffs to get your extreme on. The mountain truely is all mountain terrain park. The vibe is usually pretty good. The hippies will get you stoned, the gapers will give you self confidence and the hard cores will make you laugh. You get some full altatitude from some of the extreme suffering type dudes but if you are a jibber you are usually hitting different terrain so it doesn't matter. At alta you always get tons of laps and there are always secret little spots that stay good for a long time. If you don't know the resort look for local legend Hayden, and he will show you the ropes. Well keep it shredy. Alta is def a winner. I just wish it didn't cost so much! A thousand dollars for a pass will make any ski bum shake in his boots.
