Alta delivers every year, year. I've been skiing Alta for 4 years, now. It's all about the snow, the quality of snow, the amount of snow and how often it falls in quantities greater than 6 inches at a time! Alta and it's assortment of slopeside, rustic lodges (Goldminer's Rocks 'em all!) is for seriously down-to-earth skiers. IT's got tree-skiing, groomers and bowls! It's got vertical and it's got rolling descents. Alta has a vibe that can't be found at Vail, Deer Valley or Tahoe. If you're from the East, Alta is the Mad River Glen of the West. It's skiing among the best of the best — as one t-shirt says, This is Alta — You'd be good if you were anywhere else!" Supreme and Wild Cat lifts serve some wild, natural terrain that is as good as most cat-skiing experiences I"ve had in Colorado. At Alta it's not about what you wear or what you drive, or how much money you make — It's about loving the experience of skiing and sharing that love among a group of people who love it just as much! Alta delivers!
