Just returned from a Crystal holiday to Kirchdorf, and had a fantastic time. We were complete beginners, so this resort was an ideal choice. Very good instructors and excellent slopes for a starter. We fell very lucky and met a good group of people which made the apres ski - if your not so lucky, the options for apres ski are limited.
Free ski bus to other resorts to Steinplatte and St Johann, where there are numerous red and blue slopes for the more competant skier.
If as we you are complete beginners the Crysal learn to ski inclusive option is a very good idiot proof guide to starting to ski and takes care of everything you need. Finally cannot recommend hotel Seiwald enough - great food, great facilities and very friendly staff - especially in the beerkeller.
