The "Zahmer Kaiser" ski centre offers wide, gently sloping piste set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Kaiser mountain range, and are therefore perfect for children and beginners. With 25 km of slopes and 10 different runs (The toughest is the two kilometre long Rennstrecke) served by a modern quad chairlift and nine drag lifts, its a kid's ski paradise and night skiing is offered once or twice a week on the snowy Amberg.



There are four tobogganing runs and the local Kaiserwinkel area has a cross-country ski network covering 140 km. The resort celebrated 110 years of tourism in 2006.
