Pros: Huge, Variety of terrain, Old-world experience, Skiing and Apres-Ski were invented here

Cons: Not a lot of beginner slopes.

I spent Christmas week in St. Anton in 2005. Awesome mountain. Variety of terrain; everything from comprehensive ski school areas to hikeable bowls, peaks and chutes. Skiied from St. Anton to St.... Full review

St Anton - great for experts IF the conditions are right

Pros: Great challenging terrain, modern lifts, unbeatable for experts

Cons: In bad conditions evertyone is confined to the pistes and they get over crowded

I'd read about St Anton for years so had very high expectations and in most respects the place lived up to them but I guess I was unlucky as the three days... Full review

Cons: The chamagne could have been a little cooler

St Anton Austria, Oh well, what can you say? This place is simply the best! Outrageous off-piste and ski-mountaineering adventures exist with manageable hikes and traverses. The real Austrians provide a climate... Full review
