The nightlife and Apres Ski is first class as is the accommodations that I have stayed at. Usually very good snow conditions as well despite the time of year.
Loads of pistes for all levels of skiing
A little pricey compared to other resorts

Quite simply the best ski area in Europe for reasonably confident skiers
Massive ski area, apres, superb skiing
Not great for beginners

A great ski area. one of the best in Europe.
huge
still no link to Zurs from St Anton

Vast ski areas; however we found most pistes quite skied out: very icy patches offset by lumps of snow pushed down from countless careless or inexperienced skiers and / or snowboarders. Blue, red and black runs. Quite unlike Dec 2017, when we had a v different and more enjoyable experience.

Best in Europe, but you'd better get ready to suck up your bottom lip if all you want is boring corduroy all day. This place is famous for bumps. It'll teach you that no two turns are ever the same. You'll get good fast here.

The biggest ski area I've ever seen, with 3 large ski areas surrounding the valley, countless slopes, predominantly red pistes (advanced intermediate) . Sunny and warm in March almost every day, but snow grooming is excellent, so you hardly notice any rough spots. Off piste but marked trails abound, "red diamonds" The town itself is quite lively, lots of eateries, cafes, bars and shops of all kinds. Only ting they are missing there is a proper gift shop, but, hey its not for the coffee mug you'd go to St.Anton!
Plenitude of skiing options, across three ski areas
crowded near bottom lifts
